The Wine Society has one of the largest number of pre-Christmas tastings with a HUGE selection of wines to suit every budget. It is the world’s oldest member-owned community of wine lovers. Since 1874 we’ve been doing business differently, putting our members before profit to ensure fairer bottle prices for both the people that enjoy them, and for those who make them. Balfour at Bow – wine nights
London’s most inclusive wine tastings”
Each session we focus on a different theme, from Champagne vs England to a deep-dive into Pinot Noir, or exploring the wines of Italy to looking at emerging new regions.
At each Bow Wine Night we’ll be opening six wines for you to try, hosted by our expert tasters; all you need to do is arrive with a curious palate and an open mind.
Searcys London
Part of London’s hospitality scene for over 175 years, Searcys is an award-winning restaurateur and events caterer in residence at unique and historical venues across the UK. With plenty of venues to choose from, guests can dine in the historical surrounds of The Pump Room, head to the sky at the Gherkin, discover the Barbican and sip away on fizz at Europe’s longest Champagne bar at St Pancras by Searcys.

Joe’s Brasserie in Fulham – wine masterclasses
On Wednesday evenings, wine connoisseur and co-owner Susan Harper will host a different wine masterclass either in our ‘Soil & Vine’ Wine Room or The Vault here at Joe’s Brasserie. Come alone or with friends and family—our head chef will pair tapas nibbles with the eight different wines that we will taste. These evenings are great fun, very informative, and very sociable!
