What is the Fayre of St. James’s?

Named the charity Christmas event of the year in London, the Fayre of St. James’s delivers a magical, star-studded evening of performances, readings, carols, and Christmas cheer. Quintessentially Foundation is a charitable foundation set up to tackle child poverty and the limitations it places on the futures of children and young people.

This year, we will be welcoming 500 guests into the breathtaking enclaves of St. James’s Church, a venue that has seen performances from so many incredible stars over its 12 year history, such as Emeli Sande, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Simon Le Bon, Ellie Goulding, Sigrid and many more. Read more HERE

Royal Brompton Hospital – 2nd Dec – St Lukes, Chelsea

Celebrate the season with joy and inspiration

Be inspired by moving readings from patients and staff, and uplifted by the beautiful voices of the London Oratory Schola and patient choir Singing for Breathing. After the service, enjoy mulled wine and mince pies at Royal Brompton Hospital, surrounded by the glow of Christmas cheer. Read more HERE

Carols in the City – 3rd Dec supporting Marie Curie Nurses at Southwark Cathedral

Celebrate the spirit of Christmas amidst the stunning surroundings of Southwark Cathedral. Start the Christmas season off in style with an evening of festivities and help raise funds to support the work of our Marie Curie Nurses.

This special concert will feature carols by candlelight, performances by the renowned chamber choir Canticum and seasonal readings by a host of celebrity guests. A combined concert and reception ticket is available for those who would like to join us afterwards for drinks and canapés. Prostate Cancer – 3rd Dec – St Pauls Knightsbridge

On this not-so silent night, sing along and experience the joy of uplifting carols from both gospel and traditional choirs. We’ll be captivated by readings from our wonderful celebrity guests, Baroness Floella Benjamin and Charles Dance. Laura Kerby, CEO of Prostate Cancer UK, will also reflect on the incredible strides and huge impact we’ve made together in 2025 for those living with prostate cancer. Read more HERE

Dementia UK – 3rd Dec St Georges Church, Hanover Square

Join us for an evening of festive cheer at our annual carol concert. We look forward to welcoming you, your family and friends for a celebration of carols and readings followed by wine and nibbles.

The concert will be held in the beautiful St George’s Church, designed by John James, an assistant of Sir Christopher Wren. This stunning venue is the perfect setting for carols to be sung and winter spirit to be shared. It will include readings and performances from special guests Marianne Jones, broadcaster, podcaster and Dementia UK Celebrity Ambassador; soloist Lila McConigley; and Paul Martin and Jem Sharples from Tenors UnLimited. Battersea Dogs and Cats Home – 4th, 5th and 12th Dec – St Lukes Chelsea

Guests will be welcomed by some of our incredible rescue dogs. You can also enjoy popular carols and beautiful music from Collegium Musicum of London Chamber Choir (CML), as well as the incredible solo artist, Katie Marshall.  

With special guests and friends of Battersea (both human and canine), we will bring you plenty of festive cheer – as well as mulled wine and mince pies to be enjoyed by all.

The Rainbow Trust – 4th Dec – St Pauls Knightsbridge

Enjoy a beautiful programme of carols, festive performances, and celebrity readings, all designed to inspire and delight. During the interval, treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie (or two) as you soak up the atmosphere and the sense of togetherness this special evening brings.

This is more than just a concert, it’s a chance to do something truly meaningful this Christmas. By joining us, you’ll be helping Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provide vital support to families with seriously ill children when they need it most. Read more HERE

Save the Children – 5th Dec – St Pauls Knightsbridge

A magical evening of music and storytelling, perfect for the whole family.

Doors to the church will open at 6pm for a 6.45pm start. The concert will last approx. 1 hour and will be followed by a special reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park for VIP ticket holders.

Pancreatic Cancer – 8th Dec – St Georges Church, Hanover Square

Join us for a magical evening of Christmas carols in the heart of Mayfair. Enjoy festive music, Christmas readings from our celebrity supporters and delicious treats all while supporting Pancreatic Cancer UK’s vital work.

Our celebrity line up includes beloved British actress Alison Steadman, well known for her role as Pam in Gavin and Stacey. Our host for the evening will be writer, podcaster, actor, improviser & comedian Cariad Lloyd.

The Gesualdo Six return to delight us with their musical talents and this year they will be joined by special guest, trumpeter Matilda Lloyd. Read more HERE

About the event

The much-loved Nordoff and Robbins London Carol Service has brought us together to celebrate all things festive since 1997. All whilst raising vital funds for music therapy each year, and helping us bring the power of music to some of the most isolated people across the UK.

This year, we’re thrilled to announce that global sensation Rick Astley will headline this year’s London Carol Service. Joining him are best-selling recording artist Katie Melua and renowned performer Matt Goss who will also perform on the night.

This festive evening will also feature a special Christmas reading from award-winning songwriter Cathy Dennis, with more readers to be announced soon!

World Heart Beat – 9th Dec – Embassy Gardens SW11

Join us for Christmas cheer with carols and festive classics from World Heart Beat’s very own line-up of exciting talent.

Refreshments will be served, including mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate.

Each ticket sold will help give children and young people, particularly those living in difficult circumstances, an opportunity to learn music by removing barriers through the provision of bursaries and free instruments to all those who need them. Read more HERE

Royal Hospital Chelsea – home of the Chelsea Pensioners 10th and 18th December at the Royal Hospital

You will enjoy traditional carols by our talented choir and readings from Chelsea Pensioners, both of which have been curated by our Director of Music, Will Vann. 

Following the service, we will be serving mulled wine and mince pies in the Great Hall, where you will be able to mingle with the Chelsea Pensioners and purchase original gifts at our Christmas Bazaar. Read more HERE

The magic of Christmas awaits at our annual Carol Concert, held at one of the most beautiful Victorian churches in London: St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge.

A truly magical concert for all the family, filled with popular Christmas carols, seasonal readings from celebrity guests and stunning musical performances from talented special guests including Thomas’s Battersea School Choir.

All the money raised at the Carol Concert will directly fund the new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre – a resource dedicated to pioneering research and providing innovative treatments for children with some of the most complex cancers. Read more HERE

Childline’s Carol Concert is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season, featuring heartwarming readings from a host of celebrity guests, world-class musical performances, and all your favourite carols. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome beloved actors Ben MillerGwyneth Strong, and Chris Harper, alongside magical performances from former Sugababe Heidi Range, award-winning classical singer Ellen Williams, and a BBC Young Chorister of the Year. Cancer Research UK – 16th Dec – St Pauls Cathedral

Join us for a breathtaking carol concert at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. Since its inception in 1994, the concert has provided over £6m in fundraising for our life-saving research.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust – 16th Dec – St Lukes Chelsea

We are very proud and excited to invite you to the twenty-third Carols by Candlelight in memory of Alice Martineau, who died from cystic fibrosis (CF) in 2003.

Alice suffered a great deal in her short life, but the Committee have always hoped that what Alice went through will help make a better future for the thousands of people living with cystic fibrosis and for their families who support and care for them.

Alzheimers Society – virtual carol service 17th December

Award-winning actor and Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador Carey Mulligan will host a virtual carol service, with performances from Oscar nominated actors Jonathan Pryce CBE, and Lesley Manville OBE, indie rock band Scouting for Girls, Sir Trevor McDonald and composer Paul Harvey.

​People living with dementia have been worst hit by coronavirus, accounting for more than a quarter of all deaths due to Covid. With many more deteriorating from the effects of lockdown and the impact of social isolation, it has never been more important to support Alzheimer’s Society. This year, Alzheimer’s Society’s carol concert on Thursday 17 December will be completely virtual with a star-studded programme bringing people together this Christmas, including readings, carols and special guests.
