What is The Cherry Orchard about?
When Lyubov Ranevskaya (Scott Thomas) returns to her once-grand family estate, she is confronted with a painful reality: the beloved cherry orchard that defines her past is at risk of being sold. As financial pressures mount, the household is forced to reckon with a changing social order where old aristocratic privilege no longer guarantees security.
Blending emotional depth with sharp social insight, this poignant drama explores themes of memory, identity and transformation.
